What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary health care that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural therapies. Naturopathic diagnosis focuses on identifying the underlying causes of disease, while naturopathic therapies are supported by research drawn from peer-reviewed journals from many disciplines. This includes holistic medicine, phytotherapy (plant medicine), nutrient therapy, clinical nutrition, complementary medicine, pharmacognosy, homeopathy, psychology and spirituality.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old healing technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, research has shown its use in ancient Egypt, long before. Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites, commonly referred to as acupuncture points. Also included in acupuncture are cupping and the use of moxibustion to further strengthen treatment outcomes
